I’m a member of the Kenton United Methodist Church Health Ministries Cabinet, which has 4 other members: Beth Bantom, Leanna Mendenhall, Ann Ulrich, and Joyce Webber. We meet about twice a month at the church. We’ve developed our Vision and Mission statements and are currently working on a congregational survey.
Our vision is a well informed, well cared-for family of believers through the Health Ministry Cabinet. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Christ, empowering our church and community to achieve optimal spiritual, emotional, and physical health through education, motivation, and support.
The goals of the Health Ministries Cabinet are:
- To plan and develop educational and supportive programs and activities to promote health and wholeness for our congregation and community.
- To provide support, counsel, and assistance for our parish nurse.
We’re still in the process of developing goals and are open to input from the congregation and the community on how we can best serve you.
Very nicely done, Diane. You put some of to shame with what you have accomplished. God’s blessings as you keep up His work.
